Iron Stone acquired this historic property in 2001. The building is located on Head House Square in Society Hill, one of the most desirable residential districts in Center City Philadelphia. It was our original intention to upgrade the residential apartments, increase the rents and hold the real estate as a long term cash flow deal. We recognized early the growing condominium conversion trend in Philadelphia and decided to convert this mixed use building into residential and commercial condominiums. This project generated a 4.23x return on invested equity.
